Hello and a very warm welcome to our August Newsletter

June, July and August were always what I would call my ‘Office Months’ Time spent catching up with admin before the Enjoy Travel Irish Music and Dance Events started in September, continuing through October, November, December, March, April and into May.

Then, we decided to introduce Folk Festivals to our portfolio and now the summer months are spent travelling the UK to various festivals, promoting Costa del Folk in Spain and now Portugal for 2015!!  Not only that, we get to hear and meet some fantastic folk musicians and like minded ‘folkies’ along the way!

This year we’ve already enjoyed:

Wirral Folk Festival, National Forest Festival, Cleckheaton Festival, Beverley Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival,

Gerry is currently with Sue in Sidmouth enjoying the craic with Steamchicken, amongst others and myself and Andy are really looking forward to Cropredy this weekend. Although, rain is forecast so it’ll be wellies and brollys not flip flops and sun hats!

If you are heading out to a festival this summer be sure to look out for us and the Costa del Folk  van 😉 Better still, take a photo of the van if you see it and send it to us, then we will feature it on our twitter/facebook page!!

“COSTA CEILIDHS”
We are delighted to be introducing Ceilidhs next year for both Spain and Portugal festivals. In March you’ll be able to dance the night away with returning Costa del Folk favourites Blackbeard’s Tea Party and Steamchicken , plus the Liam Robinson Dance Band. There’ll also be a new ceilidh band making its dancing debut under the title of the Costa Del Folk All Stars!
